My therapeutic approach
The approach I follow does not view the individual as an isolated and disconnected entity, but as part of systems and relationships, such as the family, the couple, friendships, and the work environment. Based on the principles of systemic therapy, the individual is in constant interaction with the other members of the system they are connected to, communicating, relating, and coexisting. As a result, the individual is shaped by the complex network of these relationships but also shapes it, depending on the role they maintain in the system, as well as the life cycle stage they are in.
By creating a therapeutic relationship based on acceptance and respect for each individual' s unique needs and pace, I collaborate with the person, helping them explore how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected with their relational systems. Through a stable therapeutic relationship of safety and trust, individuals have the opportunity to recognize and gain a deeper insight and understanding into how communication patterns can affect their well-being. Through this awareness, I work to help individuals gain a holistic understanding of their identity and the systems that shape it, guiding them to reconsider their unique life story and develop a new narrative of their experiences.
My role as a therapist is to support individuals in developing healthy relationships with themselves and others, encouraging and empowering them to contribute to their own well-being. Through a systemic lens, my goal is to facilitate the journey of self-
discovery and positive change that extends beyond the individual, concindering the dynamics of relationships and interactions within their systems.
