Approach
Family Therapy
In family therapy, situations that cause distress and pain, such as transitional periods, communication problems, conflicts, behavioral issues, and the appearance of symptoms in one or more members, are explored through the lens of family relationship dynamics. The individual, as part of the whole family, both influences and is influenced by it. Behaviors, problems, and symptoms are understood through the communication patterns and interactions of the family system. Expanding the focus from the individual to the family, the goal is to seek new interpretations and meanings that will contribute to changing dysfunctional patterns of interaction and allow sources of strength, growth, and positive change to emerge.
